Yes, you are correct. All of those tired anxious people want an easy answer. Several three hundred years of simple answers for those people eliminated simple answers as even a temporary solution. This is a dilemma.

We have created problems that require thoughtful answers from more of our population than is prepared or even able to do that. As an educator, I have to think the potential is there but the questions may be too difficult for the students we have.
