Yes, we are facing a brutal challenge in human survival at something other than subsistence level. We have the technology and the potential to build the world that we are close enough to now see. It is not an Utopian illusion. But it will require us to change to achieve this now. And we will need to gain control of those who cannot see it or refuse to act in any other way than ancient greed and domination.
