Wow. What happened? Perhaps just me, but I’ve dropped from months of steady growth in new followers to almost nothing. I’m still listed as recommended writer in the same areas and I write both for members and general readers. So what changed?

I never had any idea of where all those people were coming from and it didn’t seem to make any real difference but I got use to it and now they’re gone. So what’s happening?

While we’re at it, readership has dropped off. Again maybe I just got boring and, ok, if that’s what’s happening but it would be nice to know. We all need to evolve to justify people reading us but this is a little odd. Is something new happening that we haven’t heard about? Marketing went on vacation?

Or maybe we hit some new level and we’re just disappearing in the crowd? I know there were suspicions that the follower numbers were, at least partially, fake hence they didn’t do anything but, again, that wasn’t a concern of mine. I like the corps of regulars I have who let me know what they think.
