We need a purge

Not that this hasn’t been said before but I think there are few options left for the US as a viable nation state. At this point I don’t think we can even consider this in line with policy of any form. We are way past policies or even politics. I think a very tenuous hold on the national gag reflex is all that is holding the country together.
The US is about to hurl. One more look at Donald J. Trump smirking at cameras because he said something of monumental stupidity and no one slapped him down, one more ungodly screech of vicious absurdity from Kellyanne Conway, another barked lie from the strange woman who does the press thing and got whacked at the Correspondents Dinner, one more blatant act of corruption from the dude Pruit, another pitiful attempt to copy Pruit’s corruption by the funny looking old guy at HUD ( I’ve even forgotten his name as it is too embarrassing to watch a guy try to pocket a kitchen and fail), and another unbelievable imitation of a circus clown car by Trump’s legal team. My god how many of them are in there or did they all run away except for Giuliani?
I never heard of a large nation, or a small one for that matter, in a massive, synchronous barf but I think we’re going to see it. If you haven’t noted the looks of pained intensity, the green sheen about the faces, the quickening shuffle with eyes scanning for dark corners or open windows, you really should pay attention. I don’t know if there is any place safe but it’s all going to come up.
We can maybe blame it on that really bad vodka the Republicans brought and then lied about. Those assholes poisoned the whole country but we really have only ourselves to blame. And now we’re facing an endless night of hanging on to the big white phone in the bathroom, calling Ralph over and over again. We need to just get this over with and see if we survive.
We’ll be ok if we can just get this shit out of our system. I hope no one else catches it.
