This reads as if it were written about 1990. It obviously was not but this reflects a relatively antiquated and narrow perspective. While much that is included here was and is true, the American Empire is based on massive and distributed 20th century style military power, the accelerating social and political change has already destroyed much of that power. This destruction is the result of that power becoming increasingly irrelevant.
We see the symptoms of that in the rise of blockchain cryptocurrencies, the failure of states acting against free population movement, the rapid development of digital, i.e. virtual states, and the emerging sustainable social structures in the post-capitalist regions of the planet.
Much of this is being driven by the paroxysms of the dying petrodollar economies and the growing need to face climate change. A new value structure is evolving creating growing confusion as the old fails and the new changes forms. In the interim China has a much better understanding of what is needed to succeed than the old US and GB centered western alliance. They yuan will replace the dollar but the US will have already broken up in the aftermath of Trump.
