This is an excellent essay on the problems of population and planning in a country crippled by antiquated religion. Until now the pattern has always been to consider these things someone else’s problem if you don’t live there.

That is no longer allowable. The standards that protect the rights of people, which will be a form of individual sovereignty replacing national sovereignty, must be universally balanced against planetary health and the well being of all life forms.

Unfortunately we have run out of time and must begin these changes now. This cannot be token gestures or international agreements that are completely ignored in reality. And, to avoid the authoritarian disease that is already spreading again, the teeth for these planetary standards must come from the people themselves. This is possible with direct action and networking that allows that action to be taken without the traditional hierarchies of power.

But out network communication must be open and maintained at the planetary level. Repression and oppression must be destroyed. This is the shape of the new revolution.
