This excellent article captures our guilt and the opportunity to replace that guilt with open communities. I would only add that we are all now journalists. That is a major change with both opportunities and responsibilities. And that, I think, is part of the mistrust of professional journalists. We all “publish” our thoughts and “endorse” positions and we, then, need to work to understand the communities around us.
