This does an excellent job of explaining the extremely dangerous precedents that have been allowed. We know that Trump is incompetent and a criminal. The manipulation of the Constitution to prepare for full autocratic rule is in direct oppostion to the ivison of the population who do believe that an executive must be subject to the law.

This, of course, is creating the constitutional crisis that is being ignored. That cannot continue.

The larger issue facing the planet is united planetary action on the climate crisis. That is in direct contradiction to the fascist manipulation. The most likely result of that will be reduction of the old concept of national sovereignty to a carefully defined planetary censorate that is AI based and has environmental authority over all local administrations. Getting to something that retains democratic principles and supports universal rights is the challenge. With a minority dedicated to going in the opposite direction for no good reason is not encouraging.

The likely result of that will be something much closer to a Chinese professional administration with less democratic rights. The irony of that is not humorous.
