The universal corruption at the political level of the federal government is, I think, a major factor in the tedious waffling in the face of massive corruption, crimes, and treasonous acts. People who live in glass houses don’t even want to discuss stone throwing.

The total wealth of all current members was at least $2.43 billion when the 115th Congress began, 20 percent more than the collective riches of the previous Congress, a significant gain during a period when both the Dow Jones industrial average and Standard & Poor’s 500 index rose slightly less than 10 percent. — Roll Call

The numbers tell the story.

Today, U.S. senators are paid a salary of $174,000 per year — more than triple the average wage across all American workers of $51,960 — and higher than the median earnings of even the highest-paying jobs in America. Senate majority and minority leaders make even more — $193,400 annually. Lawmakers’ salaries do not include benefits like staff and travel allowances, which average more than $3 million per senator. — MSN.com

It is easy to see that the desire to ensure legal and constitutional compliance that may destroy their plush jobs is not a high priority. The people that are interested in and spend their lives getting and keeping these jobs consider them careers.

It would be silly to allow massive corruption and treason to interfere with this level of income. So, let’s not be precipitous. We need to consider this very carefully.

Just because Trump impulsively does nationally disastrous things that always benefit Putin is a bit funny, but, on the other hand, it may just be a coincidence. There’s really no way for us to know.

And just because Trump exhibits classic symptoms of malignant narcissism and psychopathy with growing indications of dementia and, increasingly, violent delusional ramblings, we must not jump to any conclusions. He’s never been formally diagnosed so that would be politically unwise. Aren’t all presidents like that?

TRANSLATION: I am never going to admit that the dude has been bare ass naked for three years as well as bug fuck crazy because I’m not ready to retire. We’re all friends here and we all share the same interests. As long as our families are on the gravy train and not threatened, I’m cool. I’ll sing in the chorus and dance per the script.

What is constitutionally possible is now irrelevant. The electoral system has been destroyed in just enough places to allow national manipulation.
