The Process to Defeat Deceit

The irony of deceit and the addictive hooks of self deception are spreading from points of infection in our societies. Cultures that lose their shared reality come apart.

They not only lose the ability to communicate but the knowledge needed to determine truth. Truth is only as absolute as its shared definition.

When truth’s shared definition is continuously called into question only those with developed analytical abilities and strong critical skills can maintain the truth.

All others are set adrift and susceptible to emotional lures that offer a place to stand. But the tools needed to determine a firm place to stand are exactly what they lack.

They accept superficial proofs that appeal to their anxieties and fears. Those are bait on the hooks of delusion and fascist domination.

These are always simple memes pointing to the perfidy of others who are different. This is based in the ancient clan and tribal faith that all others must be denied trust and and presence in our lives.

We know better now but that knowledge is weakly rooted for many. That knowledge and its weakness is culturally based while the far older clan and tribal faith predates all culture. That older, cruder faith even predates most language.

That is why the memes of manipulation for fascism are loud and emotional with no logic. They hate truth and knowledge because complex language destroys their power.

Complex language requires complex thought. Complex thought is not emotional. It may be firmly held but that firmness is based in the confidence of logic and analytical proof.

But all leaders use emotion. That is an evolutionary weakness that is killing us now. It allows emotional delusion to masquerade as leadership once language and truth have been destroyed. That form of leadership also predates culture and language. It rests in simple cunning with displays and use of force.

For millennia it has been easy to fall back to the old forms in times of stress. At worst that would destroy a clan or tribe. In our history it would destroy kingdoms or even empires. We study those for clues to critical analysis of the process of failure.

That is dependent on education. But education must include the hard thinking in critical analysis. This is far beyond simple quantifiable outcomes. While those can lead to critical thought they cannot show it. We have failed to expand our common education to this level. Critical skills are not taught until science, math, or logic are required but even then those are much easier to teach if replaced with perfunctory memes to learn.

This fits the historical form of modern education as the recitation of facts and labels. But what do the labels mean? What is the goal of education now that information is a planetary network memory? It must always be knowledge, wisdom and survival of our species. But one day maybe more than that.

The critical change is not information, as that is at our fingertips. It is not specific skills as those can be watched and learned. It is the abstract understanding of a valid process. It is the analysis of a failed process to correct or improve it.

False information produces failures. Understanding a process as a logical sequence is the only way to learn this. This is the formal education that we all must have now. One way is our processing of information. Coding is being recognized first as a critical awareness of process.

This is complex and critical thought. Emotion may come before or after but not during this process. Loud emotional memes are valueless here.

Too many people have rootless education with no critical skills. They are prey for those insane with power and material wealth. We have held absolute faith in money as more important than critical knowledge and that must end. We know it but are afraid to trust our knowledge.

It was possible to live with that as a an error that plagued society. But it has become an endemic disease. And it is now it is suddenly deadly for our species.

We have used our abilities without adequate analysis of possible result and outcomes. We put off acting on that understanding too long. Our planet is now handing us the bill that is far larger than we expected.

There is a deadline. But we can control how much more we will pay on that planetary bill with critical analysis and planetary action. Or we can retreat to the old emotions and pay the rising price until we are gone.

But now it is not the loss of a clan or tribe, a kingdom or a national empire, but making our planet uninhabitable for us and most all life on which we depend.

Lies and delusion with emotional denial of our greater skills is more than stupid now. We know Trump and those like him and his helpers are inherently stupid though powerful and cunning in the ancient ways. We know that but we must firmly act on our hard won knowledge, logic, and complex thought.

The people left without the skills to understand the age that we are entering must be helped and understood but they must not be allowed to destroy our planet. When they have the skills they will know what they have done. We must remember that.

They are frightened of complexity and our emerging power in an age of quantum reality. Even if able to withstand the emotional lure of fascism many are trapped in mythological illusions that cannot support our survival. These contain critical markers and paths to understanding but have been mistaken for reality because of weak critical skills and denial of complex thought.

We must move immediately to stronger education that helps the problem populations gain confidence in complex thought and fully integrated spiritual consciousness. That is an amazing opportunity we are only beginning to see but may be lost through fear and the refusal to learn.

There is no other option but act on our knowledge. The next ten years will show our fate.
