The last election
Looking at the end of the America we knew

We’re coming down to the last chance. Will democracy in any real form survive in America? The election on November 6 is, now, the last hope. If the criminal fascists are not removed what will happen? Can they be removed?
These are the questions that will be answered historically. Unfortunately we need to live through this and deal with the consequences. This is not a game or simple political contest that makes little difference. Many people in America have become convinced that it doesn’t matter who you vote for because nothing changes.
That has been basically true for decades. Whatever the details of the respective policies or issues of disagreement, nothing much changed. This was only partially true. For the last fifty years the economy reacted to world trade and and the traditional boom bust cycles of uncontrolled capitalism. For most people those up and down cycles were more important than national elections as they would affect the amount of money you had to live or whether you were likely to loose your job or be laid off.
Very much like global warming, the changes were incremental and either good or bad. With statistical measurement the stagnation of a growing percentage of the population and the downward pressure on the middle class could be seen. Wages did not move up but costs did. Homelessness increased.
At the bottom end things were better as full starvation was reduced and complex and changing services provided better health care and special support for education. In a steady economic upswing joblessness went down but living standards did not improve. The lack of national healthcare created continuous disasters with families bankrupted by medical expenses that would often destroy any route back to the middle class.
The steadily growing economy was the result of production efficiencies and growing automation. The profits were increasingly rigged to go only to the wealthiest in the form of tax cuts and other subsidies while services for the entire population were continuously cut.
The representative government became the government of the very wealthy and no one spoke for the 80% who’s wages were frozen and drained by increasing healthcare and educational costs.
But the only thing we saw were the super rich with their yachts and cars and many homes that we had all been taught could also be ours. But they never came and any financial gains for the bulk of the population were never enough for real saving or capital acquisition. So people who could manage to get mortgages bet on housing when that was booming or lost everything when the finance moguls bailed out when their scams failed in order to keep their millions.
Those who held their homes had a place to live and some collateral to use in an emergency or just to pay the huge tuition for the kids’ colleges. Those on the bottom could work but with wages too low to live they slipped in and out of homelessness by living with relatives or in a car or, finally, in a box somewhere until they got sick and lost their low wage jobs.
The government for the rich did not care about the other 80%. The rules were that taking what little money the 80% had was fair game for the super rich and the government helped them and reelected themselves.
That left us with a vast military empire supporting multiple wars for the benefit of the billionaires, fossil fuel industries and the military contractors set up to supply the failing empire and the endless wars. After the collapse of the USSR America’s military budget rose to twenty times that of any other country. But there was no money for education, healthcare, or public services because the super wealthy sneered at such things. They didn’t need that and it cut into their vast hordes of cash held in tax free tax havens.
This is called corruption and leads to fascism that drops all pretense of responsibility for anyone but their own ass kissers and sycophants. That is what we now have for a government. Incompetence and corruption or in control and daring the population to do anything about it.
The same scum that have taken control of the government have destroyed the electoral system wherever they could. We are very close to a critical election and those states under full control of the fascist fringe are working full time deleting voting records of anyone who isn’t a white or supporter. And daring anyone to do anything about it.
The leaders of the scum, inlcuding the turtle who runs the Senate, are now declaring that if they can hold onto the government they will destroy Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security and all remaining services. Why? Because they can. And so they can have all the money.
Things are now very different than what people think. We have complete employment yet wages have not increased and the vast majority have no more than they ever had. Why is that? Everyone understands that automation is removing jobs. That will increase and you can ignore the steady repetition of the calming noise that it will be ok and there will be new jobs that replace the old. That has already happened and is happening at an accelerating rate. Somewhere from 30–50% of US jobs will be gone by 2030. The jobs that will be lost are the jobs that pay the bottom half of the economy.
Why aren’t things better with full employment? Because the great bulk of jobs now are either low wage services or gigs for those with skills. In the last twenty years we have gone to a rapidly growing gig economy. Those jobs are like the old summer jobs for students. No security, no future, and little money. We are already there and that is why things are bad. How will a growing economy make things better if we are already at full employment?
The real secret is that the future will steadily get worse if this is all that 80% of the population will have. The scum can destroy the remaining services because it doesn’t matter if you and your family die. They will have more money then and that is all that they want. They don’t care if your children have no future because theirs have it all guaranteed.
They have subverted many local governments and the police are their private security guards with license to kill anyone that doesn’t look or dress like them. Fuck everyone but multimillionaire whites. They do not need you anymore.
Think about it. No one says this although it is obvious. The big media spreads the word that it is all ok. Things are good and you don’t want any of those public services because those other colored people use them. So you, if you are white, should act like the super rich and destroy those services. They consider you too stupid to realize that you are killing your selves, families, and communities. You are identical to the people they don't need and don't want.
Your last chance is to vote all Republicans out of office on November 6. Vote all Democrats in. It doesn’t matter that the Democratic party is also corrupt and incompetent but they are not fascist. We will clean them out later.
Will this make the difference? I can’t say that it will because the corruption and criminality have gone too deep. The fascists may already be able to control the election in enough counties and states that they can succeed in keeping control. If that happens it will be time to prepare for mass oppression and rapidly accelerating destruction. It will be time to start planning escape.
Maybe we can remove Congress from the fascist scum. That is the only real hope. If it doesn’t change then there will probably never be another actual election in America.
That is where we are right now.
