It is beginning to feel like the beginning of a shit avalanche. We’ve been noticing little pieces rolling down for some time but what’s a few pieces her or there?
Suddenly there are more rocks and gravel rattling down the Trump/Republican mountain of bullshit. Wait, are those turds? Trump does not surround himself with rocks.
It’s the deep, seismic rumbling that is scary. Whatever was holding this monster together it is starting to come apart. At any point now the whole thing could come down on us.
This is not a small disaster. The huge mountain of shit should never have been allowed to collect. This is not just three years of Trump incompetence and blatant corruption but decades of pandering to wealth and ignoring class exploitation. The moral weight of endless wars maintained by massive greed and massive profits is all up there now suspended by endless Trump lies.
Suddenly Trump’s lies are too weak to keep even his delusions together. When this thing seriously starts to fall it will be time to run for our lives and the devil take the hindmost. Meeting our end buried in three years of Trump shit is a horrible thought but once it starts the compressed hatred and ignorance behind it may crush us all.
What will cause the break? Trump, in full bleat, has confessed to high crimes and misdemeanors so anything after this from him is anticlimactic. Besides people have learned to discount anything that Trump says as it is almost certainly another lie. Major trade agreements and denuclearization are always lies. In Trump’s world there is no sky left to fall.
I think the best bet for blowing things up is Rudy Giuliani. As John Bolton is quoted as saying, “Rudy is a hand grenade. He’s gong to blow up everything” or words to that effect. Rudy, delusional and wildly impulsive, is so far into the mountain of shit that if he opens his mouth he will explode and the mountain will collapse.
Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff, and the active Democrats poking at the mountain of shit is frightening. It must be done but there is a good chance we won’t survive the resulting avalanche. It already appears that everything that was ever suspected is real. Are we ready for that?
Trump is owned and has struggled against his own limitations to build an illusion of wealth and power. He lost his father’s money and failed at all his businesses. Selling over priced, fully leveraged luxury condos to Russian mafia dons kept his illusions alive but that left a trail that was too easy to dig out before Putin saw an opportunity. Donny has been a very good boy ever since.
His crazy man impulsiveness is real but Donny always remembers what has kept him alive. The trouble is he is a little too simple to hide it at all well.
Putin has two major areas of focus: the Ukraine being returned to Russia and his foothold in the Middle East with Syria. The hope was to remove the US from Syria and neutralize the Kurds.
Trump was a bad boy and made a mess, along with Rudy, in the Ukraine by trying to run his own extortion for political gain. This increased attention to the new government there. Oops. Donny is scared of punishment.
But everything was made up when Donny back stabbed the Kurds and let Turkey invade the free part of Syria. The Kurds are now allied with Syria and the US is gone with Russian forces suddenly buffering Turkey and Syria. Who won? Putin has taken control.
How is this going to play out? Not to the benefit of the US. Unfortunately the sudden start of military action in a place finally finding some peace after years of Syrian civil war is now, again, a war zone. But the power player is Russia. This is not stable as it will take years and much death to stabilize this again if it is even possible.
Donny is a very good boy again. The secret meetings with Putin and all the unrecorded phone calls appear to have paid off for Putin.
We won’t even discuss the fifty nuclear weapons that are stored in Turkey and the sudden, totally expected release of all the ISIS fighters. They, of course, are going to just go home and start small businesses.
This is the Putin connection that is starting to slide down off the shit mountain via Syria and Kurdistan. Too many connections and the trail of incompetent pandering for money is already too obvious. The truth does come out when the shit slides down.
The ides of November may or may not be an impeachment. It may be more serious than that.
