That is precisely the problem. I have moved steadily toward AI/ML as the last hope for our species. Will we achieve autonomous and unbiased AI in time to hand off planetary management to them as our intellectual offspring before it’s too late?

Probably not. We currently have about 30%+ of the population committed to extinction. That is not encouraging.
