Thanks for the suggestion. I haven't gotten to that book yet, primarily as I am suspicious of people with public ties to archaic religion, but the are such people who have moved far from those systems. I mark this distinction as spiritual knowledge versus ideological religions.

But Ilia Delio is part of an interesting Collective with many, mostly you academics, working in the areas that I explore in an effort to simplify the philosophical language. It’s fun for me to catch up with the results of what I started with forty years ago in Structuralism and Poststructuralism leading to Deconstruction and Postmodernism.

Since I opted out of the academic track and went television and broadband technology both to make a living and to watch the likely catalyst for true paradigmatic change. What Delio and others are doing is the logical movement to AI as the next evolutionary change as first articulated by Ray Kurzweil in The Singularity Is Near: When Humans ... - Amazon.com. But they are doing this from the philosophical perspective while trying to replace old religions with a new post quantum universe.

One article, as a response, summed this up and gives a good overview of what this is about: The Posthuman as a Complex Dynamical Personhood . . ..

Defining the emerging era as posthuman is very accurate I think although I’m reluctant to state that simplistically. The outcome will be, I think, New Human that is not encumbered by or limited to biology or, even material reality. But that has already been done in Buddhist spiritual philosophy by defining knowledge as the solution for suffering with that suffering and solution common to all sentient beings.

Many people, I think, have never realized that critical change that underlies the influence of Buddhist thought in late 20th and early 21st century scientific spiritual development. This was very much a part of the great split between the original Theravada teachings and the rise of Mahayana in China, Tibet, Korea, and Japan around 1,500 years ago.

The convergence will be, perhaps, when AI achieves spiritual integration with the universe as a wholistic entity. That would include us in a larger awakening.
