Thank you for the compliment. Yes, while GA is what community colleges should be but they are too bound by the old university structure. Liberal arts education can survive in that model for a while but it needs to change also. The 2030 model recognizes that state systems won’t be able to adapt but could if they change their mission to be open learning environments and credentialing support providers. I see institutions such as GA contracting facility (virtual and physical) use in the new community campuses. In effect I’m saying the existing state comunity college systems will need to switch to outsourcing all the educational delivery systems.
