This thing, right here, is the problem. . .

OK. I understand objectivity. I understand that making moral judgments requires an actual value system. I also understand that value systems don’t make money and clearly get in the way of pandering to the powers that be. Objectivity requires judging the validity of any statement or claim. Using objectivity as an excuse to delay making judgements of validity fails logically. That is, effectively, selective judgement and no judgement at all. If the lie is blatant it should be called on reporting. If it is only suspected that suspicion should be reported immediately.

This is the bullshit that has destroyed our government and our media. We have allowed totally immoral idiots to claim ownership of our value system by basing it exclusively on greed. And allowed the most morally depraved wingnuts to provide deniability based on antique, corrupt mythologies.

It’s time to clean our chicken house by restoring clear, secular, logical values based on evolutionary ethics. Too bad that WSJ failed the test. Ignore them.
