Having, I’m certain, a good bit of years on you it has become clear to me how cruel the mythological religions really are. Everyone must find their way of dealing with the end but as you experience your grandparents, then parents, associates, and other family members dying you notice things. It’s only the religionists that struggle in fear with dying. Sadly many people struggle with pain, although they shouldn’t have to, but fear and desperation seems to be the reward for diligent believers in one of the fundamentalist sky god religions.
This is by no means more than an anecdotal analysis. I’ve also noticed that even people who maintained religious membership in the end lose interest. They go ok, also. Good people who happen to be atheist or just nonreligious go best, if they can.
My conclusion is that bullshit doesn’t help and if you can’t get above it in the end it will make a natural process terrible. Spiritual balance comes naturally to us and does in the end. Unless you allow people to screw its up.
