As a longer term member of the Cyborg Society, I welcome you to the future. I’m just in the process of getting an upgrade to my sound processor and that will allow me direct connection to my iPhone XS, Apple Watch, and iPad.

I don’t much care for iPhones and avoid them if at all possible but given the opportunity here who can resist? I will probably write about this once I figure what it really does.

And I have the newer alternative to an external post connector. I had one of the first ones with an implanted magnet (made by Cochlear) rather than the post. I’m now not only implant equipped but magnetic also.

It does impress people when I pull my sound processor of and let it jump back into place behind my ear. Metal! Magnet! Cool!

Fortunately we don’t have too many low information religionists around here or I would have more fun scaring them.
