A positive response amidst the rubble. I tend to agree with you based Trump childlike incompetence and our sad history of mentally challenged presidents. We were lucky with Nixon as intelligent paranoids are the most dangerous. Reagan could have been very dangerous but mostly didn’t care and just enjoyed the role as a version of “the old Ranger”. Dubya Bush was the front for the neocon branch of the oligarchy and that is a horror.

My concern is not international as Russians and the others with hooks in Trump are mostly just greedy. It’s the internal, racist fringe that have been developed for years. Trump likes to titillate them and I don’t think he can stop. And that’s almost the only electorate that republicans have left. Those people escalate all by themselves.

So it’s not millions, I think, but there could be growing numbers as Trump becomes frantic for adulation of the ugly kind.
