A Message in the Trump Noise
It’s there but we need to understand it

We are so overwhelmed by the noise that extracting any valid information from the Trump fascist din is almost impossible. America is collapsing so rapidly that the only hope is a miracle election on November 3 that removes the entire male elite. It will be a fitting touch if Trump dies of COVID-19 before then.
I don’t think we will see a miracle election or even one that succeeds in doing more than a token hand slap to the white supremacists and authoritarians. Hand slapping will not remove them from a disastrous level of power.
There is a much better chance of Trump dying in the next two weeks as he attempts to flaunt his imagined defeat of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. It is tough to tell at the noise level we are experiencing if anyone left in the Executive Branch can even think beyond lies and ass-covering. As I have said, the only true statement we can expect to hear will be that Trump is dead. Anything else is a lie.
Amplification of the noise level over the last week due to Trump meeting his plague firsthand has covered the explosion of horror from the neo-fascist authoritarians. Their desperation to plant the seeds of hate and create as much fear as possible before losing control is nauseating. It is also frightening.
We have been driven backward in time to levels of racism, misogyny, ethnocentricity, and bigotry that are hard to grasp. The petty viciousness of these people shows how foolish we have been in judging our advances from barbarism. There is no pretense of any humanist ideals but only demand for racist and religious domination at any cost.
We are still protected by their functional isolation and shrinking minority. This is not 2016 when anger at decades of exploitation was dominant. Freedom from the pandemic, food for survival, and hope for protection from natural disasters are what people want. Most people are not interested in the old religions and their hatred if it means hunger and disease. Culture wars by bigots and radical denialists do not buy food and pay the rent.
Irony does not exist for the Trumpist examples of human depravity. That the Rose Garden presentation of a cult member stooge as a Supreme Court nominee was a superspreader event taking out senior regime officials is beyond belief. That stooge was recovered from COVID-19, making her immune, she claims, suggests a level of cynicism that should disqualify her for any position. Why do I sense the evil of a heartlessly manipulative person? Oh, that’s right, she is a fringe religionist with a confused understanding of gender choices. What did I expect?
We are experiencing a combination of the WWII Battle of Bulge against Nazi Germany and the effort to restart the US Civil War driven by a tiny billionaire minority of predatory capitalists and a gross number of unreconstructed Amerian racists. The only benefit we have is that these people are so twisted they are incompetent yet so shameless that they are still dangerous.
Their hope at this point is to generate so much noise and confusion that people are too frightened to defend themselves. That has worked in the past but, I think they have seriously overplayed their hand in this last attempt to keep control. Not because they will lose but because it doesn’t matter.
The massive shifting of our cultural tectonic plates has destroyed the world they want to restore, and they refuse to see the rubble they are struggling to reconquer. The majority of the planet that sees our future reality knows that it cannot be under the old failed rules: bigotry and ignorance must end.
Trump’s diseased psychopathy demands destruction to prove his power. He cannot understand anything else. The people howling in his wake have given up everything but scorched earth destruction. Cowardly raids by neo-Nazi gangs are suddenly glorious since anything else is out of reach.
If we are to survive, we have no time for feudal reenactments. The most that these befuddled people can gain is self-isolation in rural misery as climate shifts away from what they had. They need self-rule to protect all others from them until their mental disease burns itself out or hardship wakes them to their error. After forty years of American decline, I’ve realized the old nation-state could not survive the Trump disaster. The failure of the US Civil War must be acknowledged and now corrected.
We need to come together, and the best that we can do is allow those who refuse the planetary future to be responsible for their future. The poverty of the Republican states shows that they cannot survive, but we must give them the freedom to learn that with as little damage to human rights and the planet as possible.
The information in all of the noise is that the minority we see as Trumpist must be separated and given self-rule but no power beyond their immediate borders. We must handle them as failed or rogue states that chose to let their people die as long as we accept all who want to escape. No walls.
